Since 1999, Veld en Beek has been supplying dairy and meat directly. Since 2015, we have also been growing vegetables, and the cycle on our farm has become much more complete. The fertile manure from the cows is now no longer only for the production of cow feed, but also for the production of vegetables, grain, and potatoes for our customer base.
The most fertile soil lies under pasture that has been grazed for several years. An ideal combination, then, vegetable cultivation with livestock farming. The cow is the pivot of our farm, and now has even more to offer than just dairy and meat: fertile soil for vegetables and potatoes.
