Ecoboerderij De Haan

At Ecoboerderij De Haan, the cows spend as much time as possible outside; when they are in the barn during winter, they only receive grass, no 'concentrated feed'. The pasture is fertilized with manure, compost, Celtic sea salt full of valuable minerals – and with magnesium (Zechsal). The cows are fed only grass, clover, herbs, hay, and alfalfa, a plant from the legume family. They are given water that has been vitalized with an AA OB Mass Shell Lime Vitalizer, supplemented with Celtic sea salt. By sprinkling sea salt, De Haan returns all valuable resources from the ocean, resources that over the years have been washed out into the sea. A special 'milk vitalizer' is also installed on the milk tank.

Ecoboerderij De Haan is the first organically certified farm with A2/A2 milk. Approval was granted under Skal number 023287. With this, Skal Biocontrole from Zwolle declares that Ecoboerderij De Haan may be regarded as 'organic' in terms of 'cultivation area, cultivation of fodder crops, cattle and milk'.
